Craig & Blanche
Craig and Blanche have well emersed themselves in the Waitaki region over the past ten years and are passionate about sharing its wonders with everyone.
Craig is a former engineer and Blanche a nurse. For many years they farmed in the Manawatu while Blanche progressed her nursing career. In 2008 they sold up and moved south to North Otago – seeking an easier lifestyle. They desired a project to work on together that combined their love of travel and of meeting people.
First, they renovated and opened the Old School Enfield as a luxury bed and breakfast accommodation in 2018. Then, they opened the Windsor School House further up the valley as an AirBnB great for groups. Since then, they have joined multiple local projects and committees such as the Waitaki Whitestone UNESCO Global Geopark. To further build on their passion for the Waitaki Valley and their love of hosting, Craig and Blanche bought an old school bus and restored it to be able to take people around the Waitaki Valley on tours.
They are passionate about the spaces they have created and thoroughly enjoy the company of their guests.
Craig will guide you around in their unique “old school” Bedford bus, which seats up to 14 people perfect for larger groups.
